Representatives of finance and insurance companies and financial advisory offices in the Eastern Province stressed the importance of financing small and medium enterprises, due to their direct economic and social effects.
This came during the extensive meeting of the financial sector that was organized by the Finance Committee in Asharqia Chamber on Sunday 9 September 2018, in the presence of a number of representatives of finance and insurance companies and financial advisory offices. It was held at the headquarter of the Chamber in Dammam.
It was opened and moderated by the Chairman of the Committee, Salah al-Jabr, and discussed several related topics.
The participants in the meeting stressed the need to monitor insurance and regulate channels of sales, in order to ensure transparency and positive in the financial markets that to achieve their objectives in support of the national economy, and to prevent negative phenomena that may accompany the weakness or lack of control.
They also discussed the issue of calculating the Zakat container for finance and insurance companies and the financial sector in general.
